Description
For his first collaboration with Maison Berger Paris, the designer Philippe Starck has imagined a laboratory of nine objects, inspired by the intelligence of science and the emotion of perfume, going back to the origins of the brand founded by the pharmacist Maurice Berger, inventor of the famous Lampe Berger. Philippe Starck, who makes everyday objects iconic, has designed a collection for Maison Berger Paris with pure and timeless lines.
This Peau de Pierre Reed Diffuser by Starck is unique, to the image of its designer, who lent his name and talent to a few creations born from his partnership with Maison Berger Paris. Its timeless lines, along with its simple and pure shape transform this every day object into an iconic piece. Its aesthetic inspiration drawn from laboratory glassware, gives true craftsmanship fineness to it. Recognizable among all, the top of the bouquet’s body is adorned with a metal ring and its distinctive organic motifs with molecular codes. The secret and originality of the Peau de Pierre Reed Diffuser by Starck lies in its studded and screen printed domed base. The grey colour provides it with additional ethereal elegance, used as a nod to the packaging of the Peau de Pierre cologne. Transformed into an indoor fragrance, discover the zesty intensity of bergamot combined with the floral scents of jasmine, dusted with a few spicy and musky hints. This masculine olfactory composition plays on ambiguity by asserting its feminine side.
